Mission Artist is a podcast that shares the stories of artists in all fields who have taken their work and life experiences to seek out ways to help and improve the lives of others. At the core of Mission Artist is the belief in the power of shared stories – large scale and small that allow us to find validation, resilience, and hope. They also provide us with proof that solutions to seemingly insurmountable problems can be found in the blueprints of these shared experiences
As we start this inaugural season, Natalie and I chose to begin with the stories that first inspired us when we began our respective journeys from our classical music backgrounds. Our intention is to reach out beyond our field and include the stories of those we encounter on the continuing journey outside the concert hall.
